Welcome to My World!

I am a person with autism myself.  I also have ADD, Bipolar Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder and CTPSD.  SO i know the trials, tribulations, and rewards of being an autistic person.

I did not find out I was autistic until I was 28 years old. I was tested extensively as a child, pulled out for both Gifted and Special Ed, and was misdiagnosed many times as they did not recognize Autism in females during the 80s.

Finding out I was autistic changed my life.  I finally knew why I was different, why I didn't fit in, why I could not make or keep friends and why I suffered through so many mental health problems in my teenage years.

I was able to utilize my Autistic talents to craft a career as a LIbrarian because I have an amazing memory for facts, love to read, learn languages quickly, and can recognize problems in systems and organizations.

I have extensively studied Autism and how to utilize the unique qualities we posess to excel in school, in jobs, and in life.  I want to share my tips, tricks, and hacks to make life a little easier and more mangeable for others with Autism and ADD.
